Walmart will offer free health tests and affordable vaccines this January 14

Walmart is inviting people to start 2023 off in good health, so this Saturday, January 14, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., customers will be able to receive it. Free health screenings for glucose, cholesterol, BMI and blood pressure, plus affordable vaccinations like flu, COVID-19, mumps, measles and more at store pharmacies nationwide.

The retailer is promoting Walmart Wellness Day on its website to help families prioritize their health by not only knowing and understanding their numbers. giving them the tools and resources to careAs well as to improve and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

More than 4,600 Walmart pharmacies nationwide will host Walmart Wellness Day events at designated times and days. Those interested can find the free programs closest to their neighborhood at Walmart.com/wellnesshub,

Selected stores will also offer those interested Eye exams, in-store gifts, and wellness product demos So as to make it even easier for them to access the specific services they need.

The Walmart Wellness Day event will include the following health resources, Administered by qualified teams of pharmacies and vision centers,

– Free health check-up, incl. Glucose, cholesterol, blood pressure, body mass index, and eye exam (selected location)
– affordable vaccinations, including Flu, Measles, Mumps, Pneumonia, Tetanus, HPV, Rubella (MMR), Varicella (Chicken Pox/Shingles), Pertussis (Tdap), Hepatitis A and B even more
, COVID-19 Vaccines at no cost to the patient
– Wellness Resources and Opportunity to speak with a pharmacist

More than 4,000 Walmart stores are located in medically underserved areas, meaning Walmart is often the first stop for medical care in these rural and underserved communities. Since 2014, Walmart pharmacies have hosted Walmart Wellness Days, contributing to over five million free health exams for customers.
