A fan shows a tattoo of tribute to Swiss star Roger Federer

Rafael Nadal leads the list of Grand Slam winners with 22 titles, Novak Djokovic has 20, but looks good for something else. But when it comes to being a ‘fan favourite’, it is Swiss star Roger Federer who is ahead of his perennial rivals. Federer has been out of action for a long time due to his knee surgery and fans are praying for the legendary tennis player to get back into action at the earliest. While he is not on the court, Federer is out and enjoying his life off the court. And whenever fans see him something special happens.

On Tuesday, the ATP Tour shared a video on Twitter where a fan meets Federer at a restaurant.

Fans tell Federer that he has a tattoo on his arm in honor of the great tennis player. Others in the restaurant urged the fan to show Federer the tattoo. The fan has a famous quote of Federer engraved on it, as well as a picture of a tennis court on it.

“There’s no way around hard work, embrace it”. Roger Federer,” is the message written on the fan’s arm.

The Swiss ace was the first male tennis player to complete 20 Grand Slam titles. His long absence from the tour meant that his rival Nadal not only caught him, but overtook him. Djikovic is at level 20 with him.

The three tennis stars share 62 Grand Slams between them and have ruled men’s tennis together for more than a decade and a half.
