Watch: Virat Kohli approaches the cameraman at Edgbaston, asks “What’s going on?” , cricket news

The Indian cricket team reached Birmingham on Wednesday ahead of the fifth Test against England at Edgbaston starting on Friday. The official Twitter handle of Edgbaston shared a video of India’s star batsman Virat Kohli walking along with teammate Shubman Gill. As they leave the training ground and walk away, Kohli suddenly turns to the cameraman with a serious look on his face and asks “What’s up?” And then breaking into a grin. Responding to the video, Warwickshire tweeted: “Love someone as much as you love Kohli an admin.”

The Test between England and India is starting from Friday.

This match is part of the five-match series played last year.

India took a 2-1 lead in the series ahead of the fifth Test, originally scheduled to be played at Manchester’s Old Trafford, hours before the toss at the visitors’ camp was postponed due to the COVID-19 outbreak was.

Kohli will be crucial for India as he is likely to play the match without his first-choice openers Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul. He was also India’s highest run-scorer in the series.

While KL Rahul is injured, Rohit Sharma had tested positive for COVID-19 during India’s tour game against Leicestershire.


The India captain is set to be tested again as India are hopeful that he will recover before the match.
