Braves president Derek Schiller said that for the first time in team history, season ticket sales must stop before the start of the season.
The Braves will stop selling season tickets on March 17. The team stated that they are close to record attendance at Truist Park in 2022, reaching 3.1 million people.
Atlanta was fourth in the majors last season, with an average attendance of 38,461.
“We are now focused on making sure more fans who go to one or two games can purchase tickets,” Schiller added in a team statement.
