India has once again shown Pakistan a mirror on the global stage. Without naming this country to become a sponsor of terrorism, India lashed out at the United Nations Security Council (India at UNSC). India said that globally, countries which are considered sponsors of terrorism, used the Covid-19 epidemic to recruit terrorists. They used it for infiltration activities to spread the “poison of terror”.
Along with this, India said that India and other countries in this period of global health crisis launched vaccination campaign and helped others. Nagraj Naidu, Permanent Deputy Representative of India to the United Nations, said this while addressing a meeting held on ‘International Peace and Security: Implementation of 2532 Resolution’ in the Security Council. Naidu said, ‘During the epidemic, countries like India where immunization campaign was conducted and helped others. At the same time, there are countries which are supporting terrorism and speaking of hate and are engaged in false propaganda.
India expressed happiness over the proposal
Naidu expressed happiness over the 2532 proposal. This proposal will work to identify the threat of terrorism sponsored countries. At the same time it will ensure that global ceasefire does not apply to those terrorists and personal lists, which are a threat to the world.
Passed after three months of deliberations
The resolution was unanimously passed in July last year after three months of differences and deliberations in the UN Security Council. Under this, a proposal related to Covid-19 was brought to provide humanitarian aid worldwide.
