New Delhi: Seasonal rains are seen all over the country, which is causing relief or disaster somewhere. Due to the rains, rivers, ponds and drains have all become impassable, creating flood-like conditions. Cracks in the rocks in the mountains cause traffic jams. Even today, clouds have been camping in northern India since dawn, causing temperatures to drop. Meanwhile, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued heavy rain warnings in many states of the country.
According to IMD, there is a possibility of rain in Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Rajasthan and Haryana today. Light rain is expected in Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland and Manipur. Besides, torrential rains are likely in Bihar, Haryana, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Konkan and Goa. Light rains are also expected in Jammu and Kashmir, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Orissa, Karnataka, Kerala, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu and Lakshadweep.
– Rain warning in Uttar Pradesh too
IMD issues rain warning in Uttar Pradesh There is a possibility of torrential rain in all the districts of UP. Rain warning has been issued for Banda, Lalitpur, Jhansi, Agra, Hamirpur, Mahoba, Etawah and Jalaun.
According to the meteorological department, there is no relief from the rains in UP till August 5. The rain will continue in different districts till August 5. Let me inform you that at present the monsoon is fully active in the state. Light to moderate rainfall has been recorded in different districts of the state in the last two hours.
– There will be three days of torrential rain in Bihar
The IMD said a three-day torrential downpour had been warned in Bihar. Heavy rains are forecast in the state till August 4. Heavy rain is expected in some places on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Meanwhile, heavy rain warnings have been issued for Gwalior, Shivpuri, Guna, Ashok Nagar, Datia, Sheopur, Morena, Vind, Nimuch and Mandsaur in Madhya Pradesh. According to IMD, heavy rain is expected in the area in the next two hours.
