New Delhi: These days, heavy rains are falling in the country, causing floods in some areas. Waterlogging has occurred in flat and hilly areas due to rains. Heavy rains and floods have made the situation worse in Madhya Pradesh.
In Uttarakhand, too, rocks are falling due to rains, which is causing traffic problems. The government has deployed NDRF and SDRF teams to deal with floods. The Indian Meteorological Department has warned of heavy rains in some areas.
– Floods turned into a disaster in some parts of Rajasthan
Due to incessant rains in Rajasthan, rivers and drains are flowing above the danger level. Heavy rains in Jaipur, Dausa, Sawai Madhupur and Dholpur have inundated all roads, streets and houses. Rajasthan is known for its sandy desert, but at the moment the state is suffering from floods and rains.
The situation has also worsened in Madhya Pradesh due to the floods.
Work is underway to evacuate people to the flood-hit Gwalior-Chambal area of Madhya Pradesh. Teams from the Indian Army, SDRF and NDRF are continuously working to rescue people trapped in the water in Sheopur, Shivpuri, Gwalior, Guna and Morena districts. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is monitoring the flood situation.

A deep depression area continues in some parts of Madhya Pradesh. The cyclone has spread to many states. According to the meteorological department, heavy rains are expected in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, West Bengal, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh and some parts of Orissa in the next two hours. Uttarakhand has been warned of heavy rains till August. Light rain is likely in Delhi, Punjab, Haryana and Gujarat.
