Wellness Units for Your Health provided 37,798 free dental consultations to vulnerable Tlaxcalans, with the aim of helping the population maintain proper oral health without affecting their family finances.
The head of the Welfare Secretariat, María Estela Álvarez Corona, explained that the 11 Welfare for Your Health units work to guarantee those who lack social security timely access to quality medical services.
Alvarez Corona explained that by joining the For Your Health wellness program, people receive benefits such as free dental and medical consultations as often as they need them. “The care provided is comprehensive, so beneficiaries can come to the 11 Wellness Units for Your Health for unlimited dental consultations.”
The units that provided the largest number of dental consultations were Yauhquemehcan with 5,099, Papalotla with 3,745 services and Huamantla with 3,655; In Contla, there have been 3,099 consultations, 3,304 in Calpullalpan, 3,168 in Ixtaquixtla and 3,328 in Nanacamilpa.
The Wellness Unit for Your Health has provided 2,759 consultations in San Pablo del Monte, 3,583 in Tetla, 2,784 in Zacatelco and 3,274 in Tlaxco.
