The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) will declare the secondary or class 10 final exam results today, June 3 at 10 am. Students who appeared for the exam will be able to check the WB Secondary result on the official websites of the board at wbbse.wb.gov.in, wbbse.org, indiaresult.com and wbresults.nic.in.

To clear the WBBSE Madhyamik exam, candidates need to secure a minimum of 25 percentile marks or Grade C in each subject and in aggregate. Those who fail to get passing marks in one or two subjects will get another chance to clear it in the form of supplementary examination. Students who fail in more than two subjects will have to repeat the year.

WBBSE Madhyamik Result 2022: How to check through Digilocker
Step 1: Download Digilocker app on your phone from Google Playstore or Apple App Store. You can also visit the official website digilocker.gov.in.
Step 2: Sign up using your mobile number, name, date of birth, mobile number, email id and Aadhaar number
Step 3: Now, create a password and click on submit.
Step 4: Login using your required information
Step 5: Now, click on WBBSE under ‘Education’ tab
Step 6: Select the option of Madhyamik/10th Exam Result 2022
Step 7: Enter your Aadhar card number and the result will appear on your screen.
WBBSE Madhyamik Result 2022: Pass percentage likely to drop
Over 11.18 lakh students had appeared for the secondary examination held between March 7 and 16 this year. In 2021, WBBSE recorded 100 percent pass percentage. Earlier, it was around 85 per cent. In 2020, 86.34 percent students passed the exam. In 2019, 88.87 per cent students cleared the exam, while in 2018, it was 85.49 per cent, 88.65 per cent in 2017 and 85.4 per cent in 2016. This year also the result is likely to come back. Regular percentage and take a dip from the previous year as the exam was canceled in 2021.
West Bengal Madhyamik Result 2022: What happened last year
WBBSE had conducted the WB Secondary Examination in 2022 after a gap of one year. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the officials had not conducted the class 10 exam in 2021. Students were assessed using an alternative assessment scheme. Last year a total of 10,79,749 candidates had registered for the secondary examination. A total of 79 students had secured 697 marks and the pass percentage was 100 percent.
