New Delhi: In India and many other countries, most of the time when it comes to marriage, we want a partner who is honest about the relationship, we are going to love, take care of us, but if we say this to you a country Where wives form relationships with other men with the consent of their husbands, then it is bound to be surprised.
Obviously, many questions will arise in your mind that who will do this and why? It is not surprising that this is true. There are some tribes living in Africa that have peculiar traditions and have some rules.
The government does not even interfere here
Today we will tell you about the people of the Borana Oroma tribe who live in northern Kenya in southern Oromia, Ethiopia. The people of this tribe live according to the Gadda system. There is no government here and no outsiders interfere in this system of theirs. The political, economic, social and religious activities of the community are prevented under the indigenous democratic system.
According to the Gadda system, men are elected for eight years in five Oromo groups and on this basis political, economic, social, religious and judicial are handled throughout the society. Then after eight years, they are free from all these services. In this way, they make their political and military organization quite powerful.
What are the weird ways
The women here keep milk in a vessel made from gourd. These pots made by drying the gourd are decorated very well. The women here wear rings made of beads in their hands. In this community, women get more rights than men.
Women of this tribe can have a physical relationship with a non-male other than their husband after marriage. Not only this, the whole community also supports this decision of women with respect. Here everything depends on the wife whom she will call home and make a physical relationship.
During all this, if the husband comes back home and if he sees a spear buried in the ground outside the house, then he cannot go inside. Because it is believed to be a message that the wife is having a physical relationship with one of his non-men. When that non-male spear is taken out of the ground, only the woman’s husband will be able to go inside the house.
