What did America say on behalf of China and Russia at the G20 summit?

America has praised India for organizing the G20 summit. It was organized on September 9th and 10th in New Delhi. Matthew Miller, the official spokesman for the US State Department, said in a press conference on September 11th:

“We are confident that it was successful. The G20 is a large organization. Russia is a member of it. China is a member of the G20.”

He was asked whether the G20 summit was successful? He was also asked about the G20 summit manifesto. He was asked why Russia was not discussed? Matthew Miller said:

“The G20 has members who have different views. We trust that the Organization could have issued a statement respecting territorial integrity and sovereignty, which it did. It violates these principles,” it said. “This shouldn’t be done. “This is a very important statement because that is exactly what Russia did by attacking Ukraine.”

The leaders praised Prime Minister Modi

After the G20 summit in India, many world leaders praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that the message of “One Earth, One Family, One Future” is connected to all countries. The leaders also appreciated respecting the voices of the Global South and welcoming them to India. He also praised the Prime Minister for leading a successful G20 summit.

The G20 summit was organized in India for the first time. This conference was held on September 9th and 10th at the Bharat Mandapam in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. During this period, India tried to focus on many important issues such as inclusive development, digital innovation and climate resilience. Indonesia held the G20 presidency in 2022. And the next G20 summit will take place in Brazil.
