The field of blockchain and cryptocurrencies is growing rapidly. Blockchain is replacing older systems in every other place, including voting systems, national currencies, stocks, legal systems, and more. What is a Basic Care Sheet? Well, this claimed blockchain is the answer to the problems arising in the advertising sector.
A blockchain-based digital advertising network called Basic Attention Token, or BAT, feeds its tokens to consumers to appropriately reward them for their attention. It also allows advertisers to get a higher return on their ad spend.
This service is provided by Brave browser, where users can watch secure ads to earn incentives from MTD. To increase engagement and reduce the risk of ad fraud and abuse, advertisers may offer personalized ads.
In this advertising ecosystem, all users, publishers and advertisers exchange Basic Attention Tokens, which serve as incentive currency. Advertisers use BAT tokens to finance their advertising campaigns. A small percentage of this money is given to advertisers, while 70% is given to users. This will improve profitability by cutting out middlemen that traditionally drive up advertising costs.
Hot on the heels of all-time very quickly selling initial coin offerings (ICOs), the Basic Attention token was introduced in 2017. The platform raised a total of $35 million in less than sixty seconds. Through its Brave Rewards program, it has made its attention-based advertising experience available to users in most countries. The most active ad campaigns in November 2020 were in the US, UK and Canada.
Brendan Eich and Brian Bondi are the two founders of Basic Attention Token. They are two well-known personalities in the web browsing software field. The President and CEO of Brave Software, Inc. is Brendan Eich. Brave Browser and Basic Attention Token have the same parent company. Brian Bondi is also part of the team as CTO of Basic Attention Token & Brave. Sixteen team members, many of whom have backgrounds in programming, engineering, or research, are listed on the Basic Care Sheet website.
Basic Attention Token (BAT) is built on the Ethereum blockchain and protected by a proof-of-work consensus process approved by the Ethereum mining community. This guarantees that the Basic Attention Card transactions are authentic and permanent.
How does Basic Attention Card work?
The open source Brave browser puts privacy first and manually disables all unwanted ads and trackers with Brave Shields. In order to improve users’ exposure to advertising, it also uses an integrated ledger system to anonymously track user attention. To do this, it determines the timing and pixel of each ad to be shown to the user.
With machine learning built into the device, Brave connects advertisers to truly relevant content, while a feedback mechanism ensures that users see ads for products they might buy from Pebis in a different way. The identities of its users are protected by Brave, and all that data is encrypted and stored only on the device.
What is a Basic Care Sheet? How does this work?
Anyone using the browser has the option of turning on Brave Ads, which rewards users with native attention tokens for the amount of time they spend viewing the ad. Additionally, if users activate Brave Rewards, their selected monthly contribution of Basic Attention Tokens will be automatically divided among the websites they visit based on the amount of time they spend on each.
Additionally, users have the option to tip their favorite content producers directly through their browser’s rewards panel or by clicking the tip icon next to the URL bar on websites such as YouTube, Twitter, and Reddit.
What is Basic Care Card?
Basic Attention Token (BAT) was created to fix the broken economics of digital advertising. BAT is a medium of exchange for a blockchain-based digital advertising platform. Ecosystem publishers will be awarded an MTD for attracting consumer attention. Additionally, users will receive BAT for their participation. They will be able to use them on the site or return them to the editors.
What is basic care by token?
The maximum amount of Basic Attention tokens is 1.5 billion tokens, with almost all tokens in circulation. Without conversion to a new smart token contract, it cannot be improved. As a result the Basic Care Sheet can be considered almost completely thin. One billion BAT tokens were offered to investors in the 2017 Initial Coin Offering (ICO), with the remaining 200 million tokens locked in a development fund and 300 million BAT reserved for the User Development Fund (UGP).
This is how budget funds will be allocated.
Bat team: A team of about 20 members will take 58 percent of the budget. This funding enables the implementation of the BAT solution as well as the enhancements and advancements needed for current Brave browser technology.
Administration: Legal, accounting, security and other administrative expenses related to BAT will receive 10% of the tokens.
Marketing: The BAT solution and Brave browser will be promoted to increase adoption and awareness among users, publishers and advertisers. This budget also includes the expansion and maintenance of the world community. This will represent 12% of the budget.
Contractors: About 13% of funding is for contractors. The third party will receive this money. Provider of engineering services, marketing, associations, affiliate programs, growth-hacking and more.
Budget Reserve: This is 7% of the budget reserved for unexpected expenses.
What is Basic Care Card? future plans
The roadmap developed in the White Paper for Basic Care Sheet covers the following four steps.
Pre 1.0 BAT: Brave uses an anonymous ledger system based on user attention to pay authors and make donations. The BAT ecosystem will be used by Brave and includes a secure vault that uses the ANONIZE algorithm to maintain user privacy. By adopting this technology, Brave monitors user interest at the browser level and distributes funds to publishers.
BAT 1.0: BAT Wallet and Brave Browser have been merged into BAT 1.0. Brave will implement its proprietary zero knowledge proof ledger system for verification and transactions. This will keep users anonymous to vendors, publishers and other parties. Basic Attention Metric (BAM) data will be used to determine the value of advertising inventory and transactions.
Beyond BAT 1.0: BAT will use a status channel system with zero-knowledge proof-of-stake protocols to fully span the transfer and verification process on Ethereum, thus protecting user privacy. Based on the response of advertisers, this will include optional BAM metrics. Complete user privacy would be possible. Advertisers, users and publishers will have access to a decentralized audit trail to ensure fair payment for ads delivered through the BAT network.
Browser as Platform/BAT: Additional BAM measures are needed based on advertiser feedback. The partners will develop software for the BAT platform. They also intend to study the value-added services that the BAT browser can offer to users on the platform.
