When Vince McMahon acquired the WWF company (now WWE, an acronym in English for World Wrestling Show, something like “Wrld Wrestling Show”) from his father Vincent J. McMahon in 1982, he had a big vision. He wanted him to dominate the world of wrestling in the United States. WWE has taken it from a northern county to a national juggernaut.
To achieve this huge popularity, McMahon would start a new wrestling; I would like to play with the host. It brought a lack of exposure and exposure to a business that seemed regional and rudimentary.

The first WrestleMania
The inaugural edition of WrestleMania was held on March 31, 1985 at the legendary Madison Square Garden in New York. Battle of the Stars was quite the spectacle and set the tone for what the Immortals Showcase would be like. Hulk Hogan, one of the greatest wrestlers in history, joined forces with Mr. T, one of the biggest television stars of that time, against two of the biggest villains: Roddy Piper and Paul Orndorff. The duel had special guests such as boxing legend Muhammad Ali, who was the referee.
The celebrity parade at WrestleMania
Mr. T and Ali were among the first lights of many sports in the world of sports to bring their star power to WrestleMania. Great music legends such as Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin and John Legend sang the theme of America the Beautiful, which starts the event for the US national anthem, television and film figures such as Pamela Anderson, Burt Reynolds and Mickey Rourke were part of the festival event. Even the former president of the United States, Donald Trump, was present.
But there is a group of celebrities like Mr. T who had a direct participation in the fight. From the sports field, Lawrence Taylor (NFL), Shaquille O’Neal (NBA), Mike Tyson (Boxing), Mayweather (Boxing). Actor Johnny Knoxville has struggled in the field of film and television. Although celebrities have given a WrestleMania spectacle throughout history, it is the great WWE wrestlers who are the true stars of the big event. The star of many of them was even bigger than the guests.

Hogan’s stern
With immense charisma and personality, Hulk Hogan was the fighter who helped make WrestleMania the huge event it is today. He participated in the first nine editions of Immortal Tabs. Against rivals such as Andre The Giant (WrestleMania 3), Macho Man Randy Savage (WrestleMania 5), The Ultimate Warrior (WrestleMania 6) and The Rock (WrestleMania 19), Hogan played some of the biggest battles in the event’s history.
Shawn Michaels
Shawn Michaels is considered one of the most spectacular fighters of all time, and this is mainly due to his great performances in the Showcase of Immortals. For something he has earned the nickname Mr. WrestleMania. His most memorable matches are the Razor Ladder match against Razor Ramon (WrestleMania 10), the Iron Man match against Bret Hart (WrestleMania 12) and his streak against The Undertaker (WrestleMania 25 and 26).
Stone Cold Steve Austin
Stone Cold Steve Austin’s reign at the top of the WWE was short-lived due to injuries. But in the short time he was there, he became one of the biggest stars in wrestling history. The Rattlesnake was a pillar of the attitude era, one of WWE’s golden ages. And Wrestlemania was where he lived his greatest nights.
At WrestleMania 13 he had a bloody battle with Bret Hart. Not by victory, but by the valor and courage which he gave in the surrender, he deserved the respect and reverence of all. Then, at WrestleMania 14, he was crowned champion for the first time, defeating Shawn Michaels. And at WrestleMania 15, 17 and 19 he assigned the most serious battles against the other huge star of that time, the Rock.
Rocks
Before he became a star on the big screen, he was a big stage rocker at WrestleMania. For three editions in a row (WrestleMania 15, 16 and 17) he fought a star fight. At WrestleMania 19 in one of the most iconic duels in the history of the event, he took on the legend Hulk Hogan. After leaving WWE completely in 2003 to pursue movies, The Great Returned to the Showcase of Immortals for special matchups. At WrestleMania 20, Mick Foley joined forces with Ric Flair, Randy Orton and Batista. And at WrestleMania 28 and 29, he collided with John Cena in an epic series.
Undertaker
The greatness of the Undertaker legend is synonymous with WrestleMania. He is the star who has fought most of the time in the big event with 27 fights. He has engineered an incredible 21-0 run since his debut at WrestleMania 7. The list of rivals he has faced against the Masters of Darkness is incredible, including names like Kane (WrestleMania 14 and 20), HHH (WrestleMania 17, 27 and 28), Ric. Flair (WrestleMania 19), Randy Orton (WrestleMania 21), Batista (WrestleMania 23), Edge (WrestleMania 23), Shawn Michaels (WrestleMania 25 and 26), Roman Reigns (WrestleMania 33) and John Cena (WrestleMania 34).
HHH
After The Undertaker, HHH follows him in the list of the most matches in the history of WrestleMania with 23. In his first stellar match at WrestleMania 16, he became the first Raw to come out untouched at the end of the main event, defeating The Rock, The Big Show and Mick Foley. From there, The Best of the Best Match was featured in the Immortal Showcase as The Undertaker (WrestleMania 17, 27 and 28), Chris Jericho (WrestleMania 19), Batista (WrestleMania 21), John Cena (WrestleMania 22), Randy Orton (WrestleMania 25), Sting (WrestleMania 31 ) and Roman Reigns (WrestleMania 32).
John Cena
In the middle decade of the new millennium, John Cena emerged as the new WWE megastar on the level of Hulk Hogan, Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock. His breakthrough at WrestleMania again in the big stages is possible as he continues. John is known to be a great match for showing off in big fights and it is at WrestleMania where he shines the most. Matches with HHH (WrestleMania 22), Shawn Michaels (WrestleMania 23), HHH and Randy Orton (WrestleMania 24), Batista (WrestleMania 26), The Rock (WrestleMania 28 and 29).
Kingdoms of the Romans
Roman Reigns is the master of WrestleMania today. He has starred in the big event six times since WrestleMania 31. At this level, Brock Lesnar has been measured three times (WrestleMania 31, 34 and 38). He also had a duel against HHH (WrestleMania 32) and Undertaker (WrestleMania 33). At the upcoming WrestleMania 39, at the Sofi Stadium in Los Angeles, the Tribal Leader will star in another Immortal Showcase against Cody Rhodes.
