In the middle of 2023, Nissan is presented to us in thought as a firm on a global scale, with a large fleet of cars meeting various requirements. Today, Nissan already has an identity in the car market and sports culture.
But this does not always happen. For many decades, Nissan was a factory that was “dedicated” to the needs of the domestic market, that is, the Japanese market. Today, Nissan’s multifaceted targets focus on different market segments with the same passion.
We are not a factory dedicated only to sports cars, or only electric ones. Nissan seeks to have more faces than Toyota, like Ford. We can talk about Nissan sedans, we can talk about Nissan hybrids and electric cars, we can talk about sports cars, off-road 4x4s, technological SUVs.
Nissan has a presence in markets such as the United States, Mexico and Western Europe and is expanding every year. This, in large part, is the answer to the different market presence that Nissan currently has. Although it cannot be denied, part of his universal fame is due to the radical NISMO Division.
Today we would like to talk about this division, since it collects the highest performance of the Japanese solid.

In a different world, Nissan is NISMO. This line is the most popular in Japanese home games. Its name derives from the combination of “Nissan” with “MotorSport” -NisMo-, and it consists of a “select group”, in the words of the brand, engineers and test pilots.
At the heart of the NISMO concept is the experience the car delivers to whoever drives it. Nissan is proposing that the driving car from the NISMO line is something special with a unique character. In these words: the last respect.
There are similar cases in industry. We can think of BMW’s M Division, we can think of Mercedes-Benz AMG, we can think of Honda’s famous Type R. Games are divisions, they are platforms where factories “demonstrate” their abilities to develop a high level of behavior.
An aesthetic detail unites NISMO: the colored ribbon. If we stand in front of one, its colored visual lines are found on the body and inside. This detail was chosen by Nissan to distinguish the select line from the traditional fleet.

Within the NISMO line, its most prominent face was undoubtedly the Nissan GT-R. In its latest generation -R35-, this car has taken care of collecting sports cars around the planet. The aggressive and cool-looking NISMO GT-R is a Nissan trademark.
All is not rosy for the GT-R though. First Europe, and with the old continent other markets turned their backs on the GT-R with the “ecological” and “anti-noise” standards. Nissan therefore scaled back production of the sports car until now.
Is the GT-R hybrid close?

In an interview with the British site Autocar, Makoto Uchida -CEO of Nissan- was told that they are working on a plan to hybridize the GT-R. “We are looking at how we can electrify it. It is a truly professional sports car by no means. The Z is for someone like me who enjoys sports cars, the GT-R is a professional machine and we have to work on it in the future.”
As Nissan in the moment of change of their sports. At the beginning of the current year 2023, at the Tokyo Motor Show, Nissan presented the new GT-R. This is 100% combustion, leaving the hybridization of its motorization to another point in the future. Again, the new GT-R will also be available in a NISMO version.
The new GT-R has a characteristic front and longitudinal engine: it is the one that was mounted from 2022. This capacity of 3.8 liters six cylinders is placed in V, Biturbio. This combination allows a maximum power of 572 CV, while its maximum torque is located at 633 Nm.
Another brand new member of the NISMO Division is the Nissan Z GT4, a sports car designed for the track.
