Recently, Ariadna Montiel Reyes, Secretary of Welfare, reported a new registration period for the pension for the elderly, in this case for people aged 65 or older, between November 1, 2023, and June 30, 2024. This also applies to laggards.

WELFARE AND PENSION CARD FOR SENIOR ADULTS

Payments for various social programs are made through the Banco del Bienestar card, such as the Pension for the Elderly.

With your Bienestar card, you can pay at any establishment, and you can also withdraw your money without commission at the ATMs of that bank and Banjército.

It is important to remember that once you receive your pension deposit, you do not need to withdraw all the cash. The Wellbeing card works like any other debit card; your money stays safe and is not kept or withdrawn.
