‘What the f**k are you talking with you?’ John Oliver Spots Weirdest GOP Candidate

John Oliver’s “Last Week Tonight” was closed for the holiday weekend, but he popped up on YouTube in a Web-exclusive clip in which he found himself agreeing with one of the Republican Party’s most bonded candidates on an unexpected issue.

That candidate was Candice Taylor, who lost last week’s GOP primary for governor in Georgia, where she ran a “Jesus, guns, babies” podium along with a quirky pledge that “lovely days when I’m governor.” are over.”

Oliver observed, “Honestly, this is an all-time thing,” then encouraged his audience to try it for themselves:

“Go into any room and announce, ‘The lovely days are over when I am governor.’ Do it now and see if you don’t feel the lightning fast. Don’t explain yourself! Why you? After all, you’re the governor and the lovely days are over!”

The Furies are a community of fans who enjoy anthropomorphic animals, including costumes as well as art, such as this image Oliver shared of a beaver of himself:

The segment then took an even more awkward turn when Oliver shared the final plank in Taylor’s podium: an executive order to stand in for the “Satanic Cabal” and demolish a monument known as the Georgia Guidestones.

“That was the closing argument of her campaign,” Oliver said. “Raising the obvious question: Hey, Candice Taylor, what the fuck are you talking about?”

It turned out to be more than he might have realized. Oliver took a deep dive into the Georgia Guidestones and found that Taylor was wrong about the Furies, but she may be right in leaving those stones, even if for the wrong reason.

“Here is where this piece gets a little weird,” he promised as he explained a disturbing issue regarding Georgia Guidestone:
