What time is it in Australia and New Zealand, time difference to Colombia and when are the World Cup games taking place?

The Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand has begun. The most important tournament in the world at national team level began with the hosts’ victories against Ireland and Norway. Colombia finalizes the details for its debut against South Korea on Monday, July 24 at 9:00 p.m. (Colombia time).

The national team will play all its group stage matches in Australia, a country that has a 15-hour lead over the national territory. The debut match against South Korea will take place on July 25th at 12:00 (Australian time), while in Colombia it will be played on July 24th at 21:00. New Zealand, on the other hand, has a time change of 17 hours with respect for our country.

Colombia travels to the World Cup with enthusiasm. Nelson Abadía will be coaching at a World Cup for the first time, having previously worked as a technical assistant in Canada in 2015. Germany and Morocco will be the Tricolor team’s other rivals in the group stage.

Before the trip to Australia, Catalina Usme spoke at a press conference and mentioned the team’s goals at the World Cup. “At the last World Championships we played against Verraquera, here we have to get the best out of everyone, a World Cup is not played every eight days.”
