The Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Municipality, together with the Vilas Las Rojas Neighborhood Center, invite you to enjoy the show “Christmas City 2022-2023” which, as always, will take place in the natural setting of Cerro Capitan in Villa Las Rojas.
The well-known and historic Living Nativity Scene will be on stage at 9:30 pm on the following dates: December 30, 2022 and January 1, 5, 6, 7 and 8, 2023.
The Christmas show will be directed by José “Tano” Belbruno and a team of collaborators. It will bring together more than 200 people, including children, youth, adults and the elderly, with professional lighting, special effects, handmade costumes—board members and neighborhood collaborators—music and digital recording. Julio Romero, president of the Villa Las Rosas Neighborhood Center, thanked the municipality for the clear work and said: “We added the date of December 30 because of the rain that complicates our Capitan hill as a natural setting. Tickets cost $500 for anyone over the age of 10 and $400 for children under 10. There is a discount for family groups of more than 5 members.
The show lasts for about an hour. Activities have been suspended and rescheduled due to weather conditions.
Also, following the tradition, competitions are held in the neighborhood for the best decorations in front of the house and the best Christmas tree. Residents of the Villa Las Rosas neighborhood participate and it will run through December and until January 6, 2023. It will end with the publication of the winners on January 8, 2023.
