How to activate notification history

  • First, access “Settings” on your Android cell phone (cogwheel or gear icon).
  • Tap the option “Notifications” > “Advanced settings”.
  • Next, tap the section that says “Notification History.”
  • Finally, turn on the only switch that appears.
  • To access the history, follow the following path: “Settings” > “Notifications” > “Advanced settings” > “Notification history”.

How to deactivate “fake notifications” in WhatsApp statuses

  • First, check that WhatsApp has no pending updates.
  • There may be a number above the “What’s New” tab at the bottom.
  • If you have entered it, it will disappear automatically, otherwise, press it.
  • As you can see, your contacts do not upload statuses, but you receive new information on the channels you follow.
  • This is why the notification appears. Tap the channel or channels you follow.
  • Now, press the bell icon on the top right.
  • The next step is to tap on the group name.
  • Finally, deactivate the “Silence notifications” section.
