Maniesh Paul is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Jug Jug Jio these days. In an earlier conversation, Manish spoke about the struggles he faced in his early years. Recalling the time when he did not have money to pay the rent, Manish said that his wife, Sanyukta Paul took up a teaching job and took care of their finances.
Manish and Sanyukta were in the same school in Kolkata and dated each other for several years before tying the knot. They got married on January 29, 2007 and Manish was working as a radio jockey at that time. They have two children – a son named Yuvan Paul and a daughter named Saysha Paul.
In an old conversation with Humans of Bombay, Manish recalled the tough times in his life and how his wife supported him in everything. He said, “In 2008, I was unemployed for a year – I didn’t even have money to pay house rent. But, Sanyukta took care of everything. She used to say, ‘Be patient – you will have a good opportunity soon.’ And a year later, he did; I have got a TV serial. Things started moving up – I did reality shows and award nights. We had a daughter in 2011 and a son in 2016. Finally, I am at a place where I can find time for Sanyukta and my kids. And it’s a rule that I don’t talk about work at the dinner table.”
Manish will play the role of Kiara Advani’s brother in his upcoming film Jagjag Jio. The film also stars Varun Dhawan, Neetu Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and Prajakta Koli.
