All editions of Mortal Kombat 1 and when they are on sale
Mortal Kombat 1 has three different editions, as we can see on the game’s official website: the Standard Edition, the Premium Edition and the Kollector’s Edition.
Each of them includes all of the following:
- The Standard Edition includes the base game and the DLC character Shang Tsung when pre-ordering it. It will be available from 09/19/2023. The Standard Edition is available in digital format for PC (Steam and Epic Games Store) and in physical and digital formats PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch. On Switch and PC it costs €69.99. On PS5 and Xbox Series X|S it costs €74.99.
- The Premium Edition includes the base game, the DLC character Shang Tsung when pre-ordered, 6 new playable characters, 5 new cameo characters, 1 week early access to DLC characters, the Jean-Claude Van Damme skin for Johnny Kage and 1,250 Dragon Crystals (the in-game currency). It will be available from 09/14/2023. The Premium Edition is available in digital format for PC (Steam and Epic Games Store) and in physical and digital formats PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch. On PC it costs €94.99. On consoles it costs €99.99.
- The Kollector’s Edition includes the base game, the DLC character Shang Tsung if pre-ordered, 6 new playable characters, 5 new cameo characters, 1 week early access to DLC characters, the Jean-Claude Van Damme skin for Johnny Cage, 2,700 Dragon Crystals (in-game currency), a COARSE-designed Liu Kang sculpture with a unique glow-in -the-dark details and a 16-inch base, COARSE posters inspired by Mortal Kombat 1, an exclusive metal case and an exclusive Liu Kang skin are inspired by the figure available in this edition. The Kollector’s Edition is only available in physical format for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S; There are no Kollector’s Editions of Mortal Kombat 1 for PC or Nintendo Switch. It costs €249.99.
How to play Mortal Kombat 1 five days before
As we have seen, the Premium and the Kollector’s Edition of Mortal Kombat 1 allow us to play the game five days later. While the base editions of the game go on sale starting September 19, the Premium Edition and Kollector’s Edition of Mortal Kombat 1 go on sale starting the 14th in physical and digital formats.
