What to do before updating to iOS 17?
Make sure you have free space on your iPhone
Before updating, it’s a good idea to clean your iPhone. Delete apps you no longer use, unwanted photos and videos, and unnecessary files. This will help you free up space on your device and avoid issues during the update due to lack of storage space.
Create a backup
Before performing any update, regardless of the device, it is important to make a complete backup of your iPhone. We recommend that you do this through iCloud. This ensures that all your data, apps, and settings are backed up in case any issues occur during the update.
