The Critics’ Choice Association announced Thursday that the 29th annual awards, recognizing the best of the small and big screens, will take place on January 14, 2024.
The event will return to the Fairmont Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles (California) and will be broadcast live on The CW, the organization reported on its website.
The registration period for television projects will be open from 25 September to 13 November and nominations will be announced on 5 December.
While according to the information received from the special media variety, the candidates in the film category will be announced on December 13.
During the previous edition of Critics’ Choice, the film Everything Everywhere All at Once by Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert was the favorite film of the festival, winning five awards.
While the night’s winning television productions were the ABC series Abbott Elementary, which was voted Best Comedy Series; and AMC’s Better Call Saul, which won Best Drama Series, among other awards.
Other industry award ceremonies that have already pushed their dates to 2024 are the Golden Globes, which will take place on January 7, and the Oscars.
The Hollywood Academy recently announced that the 96th edition of the installment will be held on March 10 at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles. His nomination will be announced on January 23, 2024.
In addition, the 30th Annual Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards will take place on February 24, 2024 at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall. While the Producers Guild (PGA) Awards will take place a day later from the Fairmont Century Plaza.
