To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Chapultepec Zoo, the Ministry of the Treasury will sell a special collection that includes seven commemorative medals with animals such as the American bison, the teporingo, the California condor, the Mexican wolf, the giant panda, Caribbean flamenco and the highly prized Xochimilco axolotl.

The agency detailed that the medals will be available starting Tuesday, November 28, while supplies last.

The medals will be sold at the Mint’s stores, located in San Luis Potosí and Reforma, in Mexico City.

Those interested can come from Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm to purchase the medals.

In August, the collection with seven medals in nickel and copper materials cost 700 pesos; However, it can also be purchased individually at a price of 100 pesos.
