On which phones can I activate the earthquake alert?

Google provides this free system only as a warning to users who there are cell phones with Android operating system.

In this case, people with this type of device should make sure they are connected to Wi-Fi or have mobile data available.

In this way, they must complete the following steps:

  • Open the configuration application on the respective cell phone.
  • Click on “Safety and Emergency” and then on “Earthquake Alerts.”
  • If you can’t find the previous option, you can go to “Location” and then “Advanced”.
  • In the option “Earthquake Alerts” you need to activate the alerts that you can receive later.
