White House casts the finest shadow on Trump in the tax return statement

People think the White House only hurt former President Donald Trump with his statement about President Joe Biden’s tax returns.

On Monday, the White House announced Biden’s tax returns with a statement that read: “Today, the president released his 2020 federal income tax return, with an almost unbroken tradition.”

People thought the words “almost uninterrupted” were a joke by Trump, who broke with a decade-long tradition by refusing to release his financial records before the 2016 election and throughout his presidency.

Trump claims he is being audited.

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki on Monday apparently also referred to Trump’s continued unwillingness to disclose the data when he said the White House expects “the president’s tax filings to continue as expected of all presidents.”
