Mexico City. – Mexican standupero, Ricardo O’Farrill, continues to give people something to talk about on social networks, now to announce a hunger strike.
The announcement, where he insisted it consisted only of liquids, was made via the social network Twitter, where his followers have expressed concern about the mental health of the comedian, who has been urging people to talk. Some had begun giving as it spread that they had been excluded from the wedding between Mau Nieto and Carla Fernandez, which took place last April.
Why did Ricardo O’Farrill start the hunger strike?
According to O’Farril, his decision to go on hunger strike has to do with a protest at the Las Margaritas rehabilitation clinic, to which he was admitted to see his colleagues suffering from alcoholism and abuse.
“I’m going to talk about several people and I’m informing that I’m starting a hunger strike (liquids only) until they let me see how my colleagues are doing and Is this process justified as per his present condition,” he wrote.
At the same time, “Richie” uploaded a photo in which he shaved his hair as a protest and association for his friends and family suffering from alcohol problems or dehumanizing treatment.
It’s worth remembering that Ricardo O’Farrill mentioned that he was tied up at the clinic he was in, which caused some injuries to his wrists.
