Wisconsin overcomes multiple match points and beat Minnesota in a marathon volleyball match

“I think it takes a lot of maturity from every person on the court at that point in the fourth set,” she said. “It was crazy. I loved our fight, and it was noticeable throughout the match, how much we abandoned it and what we achieved after it. I think we really found our rhythm.”

Stephanie Samedi of Minnesota, who was part of the senior class who received the bounty after the match, had 31 kills left with 20 digs and four blocks.

“She’s a monster,” said Barnes, who played with Samedi for two seasons before joining UW. “It is very difficult to stop her. She is fun to play with and fun to play with. ”
