The modernization of 300 kilometers of Transisthmian Train tracks requires investments of almost 5 billion pesos and is part of the Plan for the Comprehensive Development of the Isthmus that manages the Interoceanic Corridor (CIIT), which is under the administration of the Ministry of the Navy (Semar).
