Nequi customers can make contactless payments (from their mobile phone) on data phones thanks to the new Visa function with the digital card of Bancolombia’s Neobank subsidiary.
More than 1.3 million customers in Nequi have a digital debit card that allows them to shop online. You can also have the physical card, but with this new feature it is now not as necessary.

To access this benefit you need the Nequi digital card, an Android phone and the device has NFC technology.
María del Pilar Correa, Nequi Business Strategy Leader, emphasized: “We are in the daily lives of users, so today, together with Visa, we are introducing a new functionality that allows our Nequi Visa Digital card users to make payments without payments “They can contact you directly from their mobile devices.”
