With the return of retro beauty trends, here are some we wish they lived in the past

If there’s one pattern to be followed with recent beauty trends, it’s that almost every trend is either an explosion from the past or a modern rendition of the retro beauty trend. I’ve personally enjoyed the resurgence of lip gloss, colored eyeshadow, and bold blush. However, this particular era was also synonymous with a plethora of beauty trends that, we really hope, stay in the past.

Come on, don’t you really miss the brutal hairstyles with the prettiest hair clips and the most speckled hair colors? Let us relive your memories, some of your favorite celebrities have carried the worst beauty looks ever wrong move Throughout the year. Whether it’s eyeshadow misting or a few extra minutes spent in a tanning bed, we definitely haven’t forgotten these. As much as it’s fun to watch the modern play on retro trends, there are just as many beauty trends we’ve wanted to bottle up in the past. Here are a few of them-

excessively drawn eyebrows

This trend should be at the top of this list. I don’t know why everyone, including celebrities, was so obsessed with raising their eyebrows until there was nothing but a faded line. bella hadido These thin brows have been spotted sporting as of late, and as much as we adore her beauty decisions, this one- not so much! It’s refreshing to see bushy and unruly brows compared to excessively tweezing, don’t you think? So do yourself a favor, and put those tweezers away, please!

cut hair

Feeling divided on this, we omission Agree with this. Some of us loved it while some of us couldn’t stand it. But, think about it, do we really need another style that includes heat damage? We already have our straighteners and curlers, so is an extra crimping tool really necessary? NGLCrimping is a style that doesn’t go well with a lot of outfits. We wish it remained in the 90s!

messy blue eyeshadow

While we’re totally living for the return of frosty and glittery lids, messy blue eyeshadow, not so much! We still wonder, why this particular color was a hot favorite on every red carpet back in the day? Seamlessly blending your eyeshadow to soften any sharp lines is an absolute must, let’s just say makeup enthusiasts Kinda forgot it. We can’t possibly imagine donning a bright blue, right up to your eyebrows, right? Hey, we love colors, not those that are poorly applied. For now, our berries and browns are ours livery,

chunky highlights

Like we said earlier, we don’t mind a 90s revival at all. But chunky highlights? God no. Let’s not hesitate to admit the fact that, we begged our parents to let us do it, thankfully they didn’t agree. While highlights are a great way to add color and definition to otherwise mundane hair, chunky highlights are a big no-no. Instead of looking smooth and soft, the colors end up looking like forced blocks. We don’t want to look like colorful zebras anymore, do we?

Personally, I love a good official language Natural tan from the heat of the sun. It is the perfect shade of golden and brown that will make your body glow, no? But do you remember the weird orange color that most reality stars and celebrities had at the time? Instead of having a warm, sun-kissed and bronzed effect, tanning yourself will often look like you’ve dipped into something orange. uh uhWe’re leaving it where it is in the past! We are absolutely delighted with our tanning oils that provide a soft tan.

puffy hair

OMG, we’re so sure we weren’t the only ones who fell victim to hair this big wrong move, I clearly remember that teachers in school would often reprimand us for playing puffs with our ponytails. Most of us have always had bobby pins, just for this godforced hairstyle. Whether it was a sleek hairdo or a high ponytail, puffs were a staple. Although there is currently no room for this hairstyle, don’t you think so?

vampy lip liner

There’s no denying that lipliners have been our faithful companions when it comes to achieving a juicy pout. But let’s take a little walk down memory lane, shall we? The ’90s were infamous for gray hair and burgundy lips, and there’s nothing we don’t love. However, very often, dark lip liner was used to outline the lips and then filled in with gloss. Let’s be real, we’re not huge fans of her.
