Commentators Kevin Patrick and Byron Saxton welcome us to today’s edition of WWE Main Event from the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon. We start with the first match straight away!
1. Match

R-Truth defeated Akira Tozawa via pinfall after 5 knuckle shuffles and an attitude adjustment.

– R-Truth dedicated the match to his childhood hero John Cena.
After the match, Shelton Benjamin comes out and gives a short speech saying that tonight he will beat his former teammate Cedric Alexander.
The first recap of the evening shows us photos from Friday Night SmackDown. The Bloodline (without Roman Reigns) welcomes new member Solo Sequoia. However, that segment was interrupted by Drew McIntyre brawling with Sequoia and hitting Zayn with a chair. Later in the evening there was a match between Scott and Sequoia which ended with the intervention of Carrion Cross.
A video from Monday Night Raw shows us how DAMAGE CTRL (Dakota Kai and Io Skye) won the Women’s Tag Team Championship.
In the backstage segment we see Cedric Alexander and Mustafa Ali. Alexander thanked Ali for his help against T-Bar last week but made it clear he wouldn’t need it against Shelton Benjamin today.
Another clip from last Monday night shows us Bianca Belair’s win over Sonya Deville.
2. Match

After Pedert, Shelton Benjamin defeated Cedric Alexander by pinfall.

The match started with a handshake between the two.
– After a few minutes the fans chanted “That’s awesome!” Screamed.
Mustafa Ali came into the ring after the match and helped Cedric Alexander get back on his feet. But he pushed her and left alone.
In one video we see what a camera crew was like at the Miz & Maryse house. Finally, Dexter Loomis is shown at the two’s home.
The events surrounding Edge and Dominic Mysterio are examined in detail. However, due to some interference from Judgment Day and Rey Mysterio, the match between the two did not get a winner. After this, Edge had to face a severe defeat.
