Chinese President Xi Jinping met this Wednesday at the Great Hall of the People with his Venezuelan counterpart Nicolás Maduro Moros, who has been on a state visit to China since last Friday, September 8th.
The two leaders announced the expansion of the all-weather and all-weather strategic partnership between China and Venezuela, Xinhua agency reported.

Strategic cooperation despite all odds
China and Venezuela will work together to ensure strategic cooperation brings more fruitful results, said Hua Chunying, spokesman for China’s Foreign Ministry.
The Asian giant will support the establishment of special economic zones and exchange experiences in this regard.
The Venezuelan President’s official visit to China aims to deepen the comprehensive strategic partnership based on mutual trust and brotherhood for common development.
