Xiaomi uses Samsung’s 200MP HP3 sensor in the new Redmi Note 13 Pro and 13 Pro+

This Thursday, Xiaomi presented the Redmi Note 13 smartphone series in China, in which it relies on Samsung’s 200-megapixel HP3 camera sensor in its two most advanced models, as well as configurations with up to 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal capacity.

The most advanced model, Redmi Note 13 Pro+, runs on a MediaTek 7200 Ultra processor and is available in various memory configurations, reaching 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal capacity. It also integrates a 5,000mAh battery with support for a 120W fast charging system.

The main camera of this device uses Samsung’s ISOCELL HP3 sensor with 200 megapixels and a 1/1.4-inch optical format, with which the company introduces telephoto functions thanks to the Remosaic algorithm.

For its part, the screen has a design with “ultra-thin” edges and curved sides, with a perforated camera and a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus glass protection. The company has highlighted the brightness as it reaches a maximum peak of 1,800 nits and uses 1,920 Hz dimming technology with eye protection.

The Redmi Note 13 Pro, on the other hand, relies on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7S processor with up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of internal storage. The 5,100 mAh battery supports a 67-watt fast charging system.

The Redmi Note 13 Pro’s camera also features Samsung’s ISOCELL HP3 sensor. The screen reaches a maximum peak brightness of 1,800 nits and uses 1,920 Hz dimming technology. Its design includes rounded corners and flat sides.

A standard model in this series was also presented, the Redmi Note 13, which works with a MediaTek 6080 processor, a 5,000 mAh battery and a storage configuration of up to 12 GB of RAM and an internal capacity of up to 256 GB.

The main camera of this smartphone is 100 megapixels, while the screen uses an OLED panel reinforced with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and features 1,920 Hz dimming technology.
