In this series, Japan’s leading two-wheeler maker Yamaha is preparing to launch the new neo-retro style bike FZ-X in the Indian market. The company recently announced that it will launch its new bike on June 18th. Meanwhile, bookings for this upcoming bike have also started at selected dealerships across the country.
However, the company did not mention the name of the upcoming bike anywhere in the invitation sent to the media. However, it is speculated that this bike will only be FZ-X. According to a report published in Autocar, dealerships are officially taking bookings for these retro style bikes. Some dealerships are charging Rs 5,000 to Rs 10,000 for booking this bike, while some dealerships are charging only Rs 1,000 as booking amount.

It is further learned that dealerships are currently charging the amount of bookings for the current FZ and FZS models which will be converted after the introduction of FZ-X. It is believed that the company can launch this bike at Rs 1.15 lakh and this price will be for the non-Bluetooth version, the Bluetooth enabled version may be a bit more expensive than this. Delivery of this bike is likely to start from August.
Although a clear picture of this bike has not been released yet, based on the spy image it can be said that the company has given it an LED projector headlamp. Which was previously seen at MT-15. It gets a circular split LED daytime running light with occupant rail for the pylon rider.
On this bike, the company is using a single cylinder air-cooled engine with a capacity of 149 cc, which achieves 12.2 hp of power. Apart from this, this bike can also be given smartphone bluetooth connection and other sophisticated features. The company has given this bike a neo-retro look, which youngsters will definitely like.
