MAZATLAN.- The Quadrangular of Wellbeing returns to Sinaloa with the aim of raising funds for a new purpose: to help boys and girls suffering from type 1 and 2 diabetes. If you have a passion for baseball, don’t miss out on any of the three exciting games that are being conducted.

DIF Sinaloa President Eneyda Rocha Ruiz explained that the idea is for participants to not only have fun with family and support their favorite teams before the start of the Mexican Pacific League season, but also to contribute to the fight against a disease can, which is occurring more and more frequently in the state and often goes unnoticed.

Rocha Ruiz invited the population to participate in the games of the Quadrangular del Bienestar 2023 that will take place on October 7 and 8 with the participation of the four teams from Sinaloa: Tomateros de Culiacán, Venados de Mazatlán, Algodoneros de Guasave and Sugar Cane Farmers from Los Mochis.

“We want to have the necessary supplies so that children do not suffer complications. If detected early, it can be combated. That’s why we organized this home run, hoping to help many children like we did last year,” he commented.

The schedule is as follows: on Saturday, October 7, at 6:00 p.m., the Cañeros de Los Mochis will face the Tomateros de Culiacán at the Chevron Park stadium, while the Venados de Mazatlán will face the Algodoneros de Guasave at the Teodoro- Mariscal Stadium.

On Sunday, October 8, 2023, at 5:00 p.m., the Algodoneros de Guasave will face the Venados de Mazatlán at the Kuroda Park Stadium, while the Tomateros de Culiacán will face the Cañeros de Los Mochis at the Ángel Flores Stadium. The general entrance fee is 100 pesos.

For his part, Ismael Barros Cebreros, Director of Club Venados, expressed his enthusiasm for participating in this altruistic campaign, pointing out that it is a privilege to work for noble causes supported by the players.

“I see that in Culiacán they were afraid of us, Guasave is a great team and people enjoy the competition. Both games will be full of emotions and it feels like it’s getting early in the start of the season. “People wait for these games because they measure how teams are doing,” he said.

Mayor Édgar González Zatarain explained that the events have a reason to help those who do not have the financial solvency to undergo adequate and complete treatment. He also emphasized that the authorities have a social responsibility to look after the well-being of the residents.
