Citizens have asked to be heard so that their projects come true, for this reason, according to Alejandro Treviño, President of the Council of Young Entrepreneurs, after listening to the proposals in the Participatory Budget they should participate in citizen consultations.
“Now it’s up to us citizens to go out and participate and choose the projects that best suit us as residents of this city.”
The young people of Durango presented projects that have a sustainable vision, and are friendly to all people, aimed at improving the infrastructure that the municipality already has in order to make better use of the budget.
One of these proposals is proposed for the community area of the La Luz neighborhood, the other is in the Fracionamiento Joyce del Valle, and includes the plaza that houses the Faculty of Medicine and Nutrition, and the Faculty of Law and Political Science, on Fanny Anitua street. , which will benefit the entertainment of young university students.
Also among the proposals are “urban gardens” that the community hopes could help produce food without chemicals.
The cap, set by the city council, is 1.5 million per project. The businessman said that none of the projects undertaken by the young people reach the amount they consider viable.
